Hello there!!! Here we are waiting for our lives to go back to normal.... as the activity I intended to do with you in the classroom doesn´t seem to be happening soon, I live the task as a (hope) fun activity for these boreing days at home:
TASK:
1- Create an Australian inspired artwork
2- I here live a set of videos that will help you understand the meaning and the technique (especially # 1 and #5)
3- This homework will be graded upon returning to class.

Dear Aventureros, this time we´ll take the reverse road to learn about this topic, and you will start by finding information that is relevant to your assigned country.
Why? because news tell many things about a nation, sometimes much more than you think.
This is going to be a researcher´s ride, because one news may arise the need for further investigation to understand a certain situation...... all said, let´s begin:

2- Check the top bar where it reads "countries". Find yours. (Congo will be listed as Central African Republic)
3- Print news (1 or 2 per topic): government, economy, population, health, education
4- Be aware that you may find some news refering to many countries in one article (case Lesotho "Drought leaves 45 millions in need....."), so READ the article to make sure you print this important piece of information.
